Abstract

The article analyses the transformation of the military-political partnership between Ukraine and the European Union in the context of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. It is argued that the war has not only reshaped the architecture of European security, but has also driven the EU’s evolution from a primarily “normative power” into an actual defence actor capable of financing, coordinating and operationally supporting military missions.
